Just
three and a half hours driving and by boat from ALMONDS AND
CORALS LODGE and you will be at Bocas del Toro in Panama.
Bocas del Toro and Bastimento are the main islands that enclose
a quiet bay with crystalline water especially designed by
Nature for snorkeling lovers.
Close to Bocas del Toro Island is the Marine
National Park “Isla Bastimentos”, with an approximate
area of 15.000 ha. (Hectares), constitutes one of the most
beautiful and important Marine Habitats in Panama. The reef
system in the Park, one of the most extensive and most important
of the Caribbean Littoral of the Panamanian Isthmus, contains
large algae’s banks, that serve as nourishment for diverse
marine turtles that lay eggs at nearby beaches.
Day 1 B.
Early breakfast at ALMONDS AND CORALS LODGE. 7:00 Private
transfer to Sixaola border. Arrival about 9:00a.m. Crossing
the border takes about 30 minutes. Passengers will take a
private transfer at 10:30 a.m (Panamanian time) to Almirante
harbor accompanied by our escort. Arrival around 1 hour later.
They will board a water taxi at Almirante to get to Bocas
del Toro. Arrival to Bocas del Toro in 15-20 minutes. Check
in at Laguna Hotel or similar. No meals are included today.
Free afternoon.
Day 2 B.L.
After breakfast a guide will pick you up to take you to an
unbelievable snorkeling tour by boat. Lunch is included. Back
to the hotel. Overnight at Laguna Hotel.
Day 3 B.
Breakfast is included at your lodge. Transfer back to Almonds
and Corals Lodge. |
